Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver; nitro
Cloudy golden color with nitro head. Not much aroma. The malt flavor is muffled by the nitro, the hopping is sharp and metallic, no pineapple evidence, and the final has chicory bitterness.
Unpleasant.

Pale blond color. Light aroma, weak and dry mouthfeel, some clean crackery malts, some citrus hopping, mild, and some vegetable bitterness in the final.
Ok.

On nitro tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy copper golden with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is quite bitter, with lots of dry floral, citrus hops. Flavour is aggressive, with lots of bitter floral hops and a toasted biscuity malt backbone. Despite the creamy body from the nitro, there is high astringency; lots of disharmony going on here. Not too bad, but needs work - I also don't get why this is served nitro, as that doesn't lend well to this style.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh cucumber skins, followed by a touch of lacto and a little citrus. Flavour is very bright, bursting with fresh vibrant cucumber, with lots of the skins, followed by light lacto and some light citrus tartness. Good cucumber infusion. Highly quaffable stuff.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt, bright piney hops and a touch of fruitiness. Flavour is bright, with fresh piney hops, some tropical fruitiness and dry biscuity malt. Bright, fresh and well-balanced, making this highly drinkable. Very good.

Hazy golden color with creamy head. The aroma is mildly bready (wheat) and acidic (passion fruit). Nice tartness, refreshing, the bread dough is not exciting, but the light passion fruit acidity is nice.
Decent.

Dark amber, earthy hop, touch of citrus. Mild bitterness, light malt toastiness. Not the most innovative beer but well balanced.

Hazy, pale, not much head. Mild malt-forward nose. A bit appley...sort of green, though it’s fermented out. Seems incomplete.
