From tap outside De Bierkoning, Amsterdam, during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Aroma is rather herbal with creamy malts and a touch of sour pickles. Flavour is moderate sour. Body is light to medium. First Kvass I tried and it ain’t bad!

From tap outside De Bierkoning, Amsterdam, during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Aroma is mostly tart and sour berries with light lactic fruit yoghurt notes. Flavour is nicely sour with a dry-ish finish. Body is medium. Very good Sour made in an interesting traditional way of brewing.

Draught @ Protokoll, Berlin. Pours hazy amber with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with fruity, peachy notes. Sour, vinous flavour with estery notes and touches of dust and malt. Dusty and vinous aftertaste. Bery low carbonation. Not bad but the body could be richer.

7 3 7 3 14Bottle at Oedipus, Carnivale Brettanomysis ‘18. Fairly hazy pink with a light pink head. Aroma of mint, weird herbal notes, light spice and red fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and light sour. Above light bodied with very soft carbonation.
