Description
La Brasserie du Molard est un établissement mythique que les Genevois côtoient pour sa bière brassée à la vue des clients, son ambiance chaleureuse et sa belle terrasse très convoitée.

Implantée en plein cœur de Genève, sur la place du Molard, elle est un mélange entre un pub et un restaurant. Elle est aussi et surtout l’une des rares brasseries, sur Genève, à produire ses bières directement sur place.

Lors d’une pause déjeuner, après une séance de shopping ou même à la n d’une longue journée de travail, notre personnel bilingue sera heureux de vous accueillir et de vous faire passer un agréable moment.

(Keg at Brasserie du Molard, 20190915) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had coriander, citricness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, coriander, citricness, lightly malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had fruitiness, spiciness and bitterness. A decent but too thin witbier.

(Keg at Brasserie du Molard, 20190915) The beer poured cloudy and brown. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and lightly malts. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was watery and lightly bitter. A disappointing watery brew.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was thin and bitter. A bit thin brew with grassy notes.

Draught @ the brewpub (from notes). Cloudy pale yellow with small foamy whitish head, yeasty hay aroma, high carbonation, mildly sweet taste with hay, light grassy hops, thin watery abrupt finish. Quite watery.

Draught @ the brewpub (from earlier notes). Hazy copper red with large foamy whitish head, faint caramel malt aroma, high carbonation, watery caramel malt taste, thin body, abrupt finish. Generic amber ale.

F: medium, bit tan, average retention. C: amber to coppery, hazy. A: malty, a lot of caramel, biscuits, bread. T: malty, light caramel, bread, vaguely fruity, light bitterness, floral, light to medium body and carbonation, not bad enjoyed, but again bit thin body to me, 1,5 cl sample from tap at the source (visited 30.9.).

F: big, white, good retention. C: blonde, light hazy. A: light malty, grassy, grainy, bit bready, caramel, hint of yeast. T: malty base, crisp bready, caramel, decent bitterness, floral, light to medium body and medium carbonation, not the best yet enjoyable beer for the style with bit thin body, 1,5 cl sample from tap at the source (visited 30.9.).

Draught at the brewpub, Geneva. Lighter than most ambers, more like honey brown. Translucent. Soft malty aroma, very citrusy. Sweet caramel malt taste. Thin body. Pleasant enough but very inconsequential.

Draught at the brewpub, Geneva. Light clear yellow. Astringent lemony aroma, a bit harsh. Taste is bittersweet and very medicinal. I feel like I should rub this on a burn, not drink it. It isn’t actively unpleasant but I don’t really dig it.
