0,33l bottle from the hotel gift shop, shared with wiosna @ Takayama Green Hotel. Pours hazy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is sweet malts, wheat, plenty of yuzu. Flavor is sweet malts, wheat, some coriander, plenty of yuzu, some hops. Pretty good.

0,33l bottle @ Shirakawago, Takayama Green Hotel. Pours clear pale yellow with a medium head. Aroma is grainy slightly sweet malts. Flavor is grainy slightly sweet malts with some hops. Decent.

(Bottle) Pours clear gold with small white head. Subtle malty aroma. Medium body with bright carbonation. Malty taste with some citrus tang. Good bitter finish. Enjoyable.

(Bottle) Pours cloudy golden amber with small white head. Prominent and pleasant yuzu aroma with hints of bread. Medium bodied with plenty of soft mouth filling carbonation giving a great mouthfeel. Taste is dominated by yuzu. There is some balancing sweetness which is a bit sugary rather than malty. There are some dough / pastry / bread and pepper hints. It is unusual, refreshing, interesting, enjoyable, but something in the sweetness does not seem right to me.

(Bottle) Pours cloudy yellow gold with good white head. Aroma is citrus with notes of banana and clove. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation giving nice mouthfeel. Taste is citrus with notes of bread, banana and spice with slight peppery bitterness in finish. Very pleasant but unexceptional. (I suspect that this is Hida White repackaged for the tourist market.)

[This took a bit of research but Ji-beer Hida seems to be trading now as Hida Local Beer or Hida Craft Beer Brewery - The name “Kori Furusato no Kuni” is the former name of “Jibeer Hida”. It was an old product name. Currently, we are making Hida Beer with the Sarubobo label as Local Beer Hida. - from https://hidabeer.com] (Bottle) Slightly hazy yellow with small white head. Nice aroma of banana, clove and citrus. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation. Citrus tartness with banana and spice hints. Very pleasant.
