Description
Collective Arts Brewing is a grassroots craft brewery that aims to fuse the creativity of craft beer with the inspired talents of emerging artists and musicians. Collective Arts Brewing was founded on two beliefs: The first that creativity fosters creativity. And the second, that creativity yields delicious pints. We feature limited-edition works of art on our beer cans and labels, and we work to make sure the liquid on the inside is as diverse and creative as the artists we profile. Our brewery is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This is where we brew everything from our flagship IPA Ransack the Universe to our World Beer Cup-winning Stranger than Fiction porter. In our taproom we pour up to 10 different beers at one time, samples and flights, we host brewery tours and live entertainment weekly. Stop by to see our beer bottle gallery showcasing every artist we’ve worked with over the past 6 years.

473 ml can picked up at Systembolaget Vimmerby. Amber bordering orange colour with a dense off-white head. Fruity aroma with strawberries, citrus, and lactic notes. The taste is light sour. Medium body. Tart fruity finish with lingering strawberries. A milkshake feel to it. Nice.

Happy to find a beer from this country that it is not common to find in Switzerland. An original ipa that I have tried yesterday, in the kitchen. This one is smooth, malty, decently bitter, citrus, fruity, elderflower, peachy, refreshing, 25.05.22

Drinking this beer two days ago, at home, at night, first beer after our trip at Munich. Best before 12/23, the taste was a bit rough and burnt, much better at the final, herbal, dry, resinous at some moments, yeasty, citrus, not so fruity, good, 30.10.24

Draft at Collective Arts Toronto. Opaque dark brown pour. Creamy tan cap. Roasted malt aroma hints at chocolate. Flavor is more of the same. Dark malts, chocolate and a bit of coffee. Rich and flavorful. Bitter hops on backend lend. Bitter, sticky finish.

Can from Systembolaget. I thought this was great. Aroma of guava and lactose. Mango smoothie appearance. The taste suceeded on hitting each of the things listed on the can and was a delightful combinations of sweet and sour with a thick smoothie mouth and a tingle from the jalapeno.

Bringing back IPA No. 1 - since 2017, with Nelson Sauvin... ah yeah !! Hazy golden with orange highlights, a creamyish warm-white head, good retention and sticky lacing left. White grape aromas with a touch of pine, some raisin notes and some mild citrus. The mouthfeel is kind of creamy with a slow building dryness. Orange juice, lemon zest flavours with a tad raisins and grapes.

I have a one pint can coming to me from the only legit beer shop in town. Another interesting label from Collective Arts, they do that well. My Cowtown snifter pulls duty this early evening, lift the tab on the shiny can and pour. Indistinct yellow-gold body finished by a healthy head of absolutely white foam. I smell oranges, tropical fruit and a hint of hops. Time now for a taste. Grapefruit mostly, pine, some tangerine, crackers, all with a malt backbone. More bitter than sweet and fairly dry. After going to a really good minor league baseball game with a long-time friend last night, I call this beer a slow pitch over the middle of the plate.
