Description
Collective Arts Brewing is a grassroots craft brewery that aims to fuse the creativity of craft beer with the inspired talents of emerging artists and musicians. Collective Arts Brewing was founded on two beliefs: The first that creativity fosters creativity. And the second, that creativity yields delicious pints. We feature limited-edition works of art on our beer cans and labels, and we work to make sure the liquid on the inside is as diverse and creative as the artists we profile. Our brewery is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This is where we brew everything from our flagship IPA Ransack the Universe to our World Beer Cup-winning Stranger than Fiction porter. In our taproom we pour up to 10 different beers at one time, samples and flights, we host brewery tours and live entertainment weekly. Stop by to see our beer bottle gallery showcasing every artist we’ve worked with over the past 6 years.

Dark red colour. The pink head disappears quite quickly. The aroma is dominated by cherries, but you can also find notes of almonds. The taste is a bit sour and it is also dominated by cherries with a some almonds on the edge.

473mL can. Pours a hazy golden blonde with a white head. Fresh grass and grapefruit on the nose. Flavour has a juicy and bitter fruity hop expression, some grapefruit. Pretty decent.

Can BB/MA 2026 No 06, whatever that means, drunk 5/24/26.
Smells like a juicy IPA with no big bitterness/acidity but actual, modern hop character. Fruity yeast and sweet malts follow, balancing pretty nicely. Nothing weird noted.
Sweeter, thicker, yeastier. I don't usually prefer sweeter, but I'll take this every time over the usual seltzer-thin N/A. And the hops are done pretty well, too. Is there some thick, sweet, pear syrup here? Absolutely, but it also doubles as pseudo body/texture. Could use a bit less syrup, sugar and more bitterness, but they're on the right track, in my book.

This lager poured a slightly hazy, light yellow colour with a foamy, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include corn, sweet malt and mild perm solution. First swig was quite carbonated and a little weak. Flavours of light citrus, corn, fruit peels and a wee bit of dough. Finish is lightly hoppy with mild bitterness lingering.

Interesting beer, a bit weak and boring at the beginning but after some sips, it was becoming subtle, smooth note of cereal, wheat, a bit creamy, touch of honey, tea giving a discreet metalic note hop, pleasant at the balcony with my wife yesterday, 16.05.22

473ml can. Pours a cloudy yellow with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, lime, green grape and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, honeydew melon, green grape, passionfruit and herbal hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and refreshing.
