Description
Collective Arts Brewing is a grassroots craft brewery that aims to fuse the creativity of craft beer with the inspired talents of emerging artists and musicians. Collective Arts Brewing was founded on two beliefs: The first that creativity fosters creativity. And the second, that creativity yields delicious pints. We feature limited-edition works of art on our beer cans and labels, and we work to make sure the liquid on the inside is as diverse and creative as the artists we profile. Our brewery is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This is where we brew everything from our flagship IPA Ransack the Universe to our World Beer Cup-winning Stranger than Fiction porter. In our taproom we pour up to 10 different beers at one time, samples and flights, we host brewery tours and live entertainment weekly. Stop by to see our beer bottle gallery showcasing every artist we’ve worked with over the past 6 years.

(Can) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Traces of lacing. Fruity nose with notes of yellow apples, herbs, citrus and white bread. Fruity taste with yellow apples, pineapple, citrus, white bread and a gentle spicy/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Crisp, soft and highly sessionable. Very nice.

Collective Arts Grape Calamansi 7%

Thick deep completely opaque purple with light pink foam that’s fluffy and thick and leaves loads of lacing.

It’s got a big candy grape and orange aroma. Medium bodied with nice tartness. You can really get that calamari’s citrusy kumquat flavor.

Interesting sour.

Does what it says on the tin - and does it well. Lovely luscious guava character, a little citrus, melon, mild acidity. Refreshing and well drinkable.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Woody and slightly fruity aroma, chocolately, dark malty background, notes of cedarwood, some orange, dark chocolate. Taste is initially sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty and citrusy fruity, notes of dark chocolate, orange, mandarine, some zesty bitterness, later more and more woody, the cedarwood replaces the fruitiness step by step, disguises eventually the malty basis in parts; subtle hints of tobacco, cinnamon, vanilla.
Creamy texture, smooth, super soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Very well crafted, wonderful composition, not overly complex, very clean, focussed, nevertheless quite some subtleties, super tasty - fantastic!

355ml can. Pours an almost clear dark brown with red hue and a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Aroma of roasted grainy malt, dark chocolate and earth. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, cocoa, raisin and day-old coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Not bad, for what it is.

Can best before Feb 05, 2027, drunk July 23, 2026.
Raisin and fruity roast with good sweetness backing it. Not too intense on the dark fruit character, but appropriate/ample. Very clean, clear, aromatic.
Very light-bodied, bordering thin, though with just enough sweetness and slight chewiness to keep it a shade above seltzer level. Touch of oxidation on the end, following a zippy roast with raisin, plum, caramel, date and ash. Pretty solid showing, in my opinion. Barring an extended boil, which a brewery is just incredibly disincentivized to do with an NA beer, it's so difficult to achieve a thick, full body in an NA stout. Other than a bit of oxidation, this one has some excellent flavors and is well worth drinking.

Can: Poured a clear golden yellow color lager with a large white foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some dry floral hoppy notes and residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of cereal notes with some floral dry hoppy notes and a sweetener than expected finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Good lager with good drinkability but sweeter than expected.
