Bottle to glass at Anjin restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazy, almost murky, golden yellow with a small off white head. The aroma is cereal, bread, hint of sulfur, distant yeast notes. The taste is grainy cereal malt, a bit of lemon citrus and dirty earth. The palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, low carbonation and dirty finish.

9/10/2024. Bottle shared by Robin, cheers! Region #465. Japanese Prefecture 36/47. Pours clear pale amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, bready, malts, caramel, biscuit, mild fruits, chalky edge. Taste is moderately sweet, earthy, chalky, increasingly bitter. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Nice rate, okay beer.

Bottle at Momofuku. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is straw forward with grass and a bit of rice underlying. Flavor has lots of straw and light hay with some rice and a slight hint of grass.

330ml bottle at my daughters in Laguna Hills on 23rd January 2022. Misty mahogany brown body, light beige head. Malty front with a caramel and toffee like aroma, the taste also has a malty molasses feel to it. Cherry hints in there too.
