Keyaki. My first Virgo beer. Aroma has some peach not much else. Taste is really malty, only hint of peach. Twiggy. Wheat. Something off in there.

Keyaki! Better than the others. Fruity, light spritziness. Cherry strawberry. Not exciting but almost ok. Thin.

Keyaki. Cola, fruity, not as bad. No body. Some sourness, some roast in aftertaste. Light coffee aroma. Lots of weird.

Keyaki. Weird. Plastic, rank. Almost no aroma. Bit of malt but much more grossness. I didn't almost puke, but I definitely didn't want to have more than a couple of small sips.

Tap at Keyaki. No gag reflex this year! Safe, wheaty, bit boring but not dangerous so a huge improvement on last year!

Pours golden clear and watery, bit of white film on top. Nose is smoky and some grainy sweetness. Taste has still that smoke thing going on, grainy and well, maybe some honey. Not completely offensive but really not what could be expected for description. Finish sweet corn, short.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2017. In an amazing first, virgo has produced a beer that did not cause anyone at the table to wretch. And a lager, at that. Slightly hazy gold with a low head. Malty nose, honey, lager like, light hops. Sweet and like a mediocre helles, a bit of citrus hop. Best beer they have made, I reckon. Still not good.

Listed as a mocha brown at keyaki. Maybe some light roasted coffee in the nose, but then once it hits the palate yikes. Melted margarine into shoes worn by a guy with no socks. Burned coffee, blackened toast scrapings and cabbage. Gasoline. Awful. --- Beer merged from original tick of Virgo Mocha Brown on 15 May 2016 at 14:48 - Score: 4

Keyaki Spring 2016. Plastic burned in front of a trailer park then poured on cabbage and grass-like aromas. Medicinal on the palate with more plastic and burned wort. Rubber shoes. I could go on....but really what a waste of mosaic hops. --- Beer merged from original tick of New School Original Draft on 15 May 2016 at 14:55 - Score: 1

Tap at Keyaki. Burned cabbage and vinous red wine notes, some cherry on the nose. Wine-like body, feels heavy on the palate for the abv. Almost like they had a batch of something and they dumped wine in the tank to see what would happen. Well, ultimately it hides more of the flaws than their other beers, but it’s still pretty awful. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wine Red on 15 May 2016 at 14:46 - Score: 3
