750 ml bottle. Medium golden orange. Lots of foam. Nose is strong herbal and citrus hops and lots of funky brett. Body is full, higly effervescent, bitter and hoppy, and very bretty, with leather, old books, grapefruit. A nice one, moving in an Orval direction.

20/8/2023. Bottle shared by The Blackhaddock. Region #423. Japanese region 24/47. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of coffee, ash, dark chocolate, dark malts, aniseed, fruit and herbs. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness, hint of tartness. Moderate body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Some increasing bitterness to finish. Quite likeable.
