Super clear copper, orange and peach coloured body with a very thin, half centimetre tall off-white and tan head. Aroma of grapes, white wine, cleanser, pine, flowers, resin, alcohol, metal and grass - quite strong without any malt noticeable in the nose. Medium-bodied; Very crisp, grassy, herbal and floral hops show at first with a light metallic and slightly stone fruity bite, with a tiny bit of malt coming through and a crisp, almost honey-like sweetness at the end, sort of on top of all the hop bitterness. Aftertaste is very crisp, grassy, herbal, showing some slight astringency, but more of the white wine and Sauvignon Blanc notes than anything else with some apricot and peach sweetness towards the end that has a fairly nice balance. Overall, a nice, very crisp Imperial IPA that tastes closer to 8,0 per cent, but the Sauvignon Blanc and Vinifera grape notes are the strongest, dry flavours in a good way. Nice to sample fresh...good to try and recommended enough if you like crisper Imperial IPAs. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 12-September-2020 for US$4,79 sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-October-2020.

Pint can thanks to hershiser2! 10/14/20. With that name I was thinking a pumpkin beer. Hazy orange, large white head, good retention. Aroma of tangerine, toasted malt. Simple. Taste is lemongrass, mango, orange, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy, low bitterness. Solid.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a relatively thick, four centimetre tall just off-white head that fades very quickly and leaves almost nothing on top after a few seconds. Aroma of limes (of course), cream, vanilla, pure lactose and a bunch of unfinished sugars and also a good deal of lactobilly funk and soured scents coming from the yeast. Light to medium-bodied; Strong and pungent lactose, cram and sweetness up front that is sort of unrelenting with a lot of milk and vanilla notes as well, but the tart pure lime and slightly soured flavours do show up as well, but almost take a back seat to the cream, lactose and especially lactobilly flavours that really come through near the end. Aftertaste shows some nice balance with graham crackers coming through as the malts with a slight wheatie note, coupled with the yeast, funk and especially the lime flavours that have a lot of tartness, still. Overall, a nice and complex, soured, tart, very fruity beer that strikes a nice balance and leaves the palate, clean, sweet and funky (in a good way). I sampled rhis twelve ounce can purchased from Giant Food in Arlington (Columbia Pike), Virginia on 24-August-2020 6or US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 10-September-2020.

Crisp golden coloured body with a thinnish pure white head that fades quickly and leaves a tiny lace on the side. Aroma of very nice, super crisp and fresh hops that show tropical fruits, citrus fruits and a dash of candy, with a good deal of biscuity malts and a touch of yeast and bread towards the end of the scent. Medium-bodied; Very crisp and dry grassy and herbal flavours show at first that have a slight graininess to them and then give way almost immediately to the fresh hop notes that show lemons and grapefruit with a light cleanser note as well. Aftertaste shows the crisp and dry lager yeast along with a touch of the lighter malts, but the grapefruit and citrus flavours are the strongest, in a good way, with some candy sugar and even fructose coming out. Overall, a nice and fresh, super crisp and floral beer that has a great balance of malt and hops, especially for a lager, and with the nuances of the fruits, hops and even some herbal elements. Good to sample and well-recommended for those who might not typically like hoppy lagers, as this is done just right! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 17-May-2020 for US$2,33 sampled at my house here in Washington on 21-July-2020, the fifteenth metiversary for me and my wife!

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2! Mildy hazy orange, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of berry, dank, stone fruit, pale malt. Kinda weird but I like it. Taste is white grape, apricot, plum, berry. Medium bodied, pulpy. Interesting, and I lean towards liking it.
