16 oz. can, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with juicy stone fruits, some pith, light lactose, and citrus hops. Flavour is wonderfuly juicy, with lots of stone fruits, light pineapple, and citrus hops. Super juicy, fruity and appropriately citrusy hoppy. Drinks so easily for such a high ABV beer. Delicious.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted grains and herbal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with herbal notes, toasted grains, and cereal notes. A bit too herbal and grainy. Meh.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe - Big Wood ‘18, pours a murky dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out tart dark red fruits, with red wine barrels and wild yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with red wine barrels, some whiskey, and red fruits. Cohesive and complex. Very good.

16 oz can poured. Moderate haze to this hell's, thin fizz head that fades. Aroma is a slight plastic, pils grains, nothing offensive, a plus in this lager. Taste is a refreshing constant. Solid lager here.

Draft pour, 4 oz enjoyed at Brouwers Big Wood Fest. A slight reddish tint to an otherwise brown pour, a thinner appearance, almost no head. Dark fruits that flirt with sweet, but its equally tart. Grape, apple like whiskey note, but easy and smooth. A slight dry barrel carry to the finish. Very unique offering from these guys. Fun brew, and very tasty.

Clear body with white head. Grainy aroma. Light malt forward body like you would expect from a helles. Some hop in the taste and finish.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. After several Matchless hop forward brews, it's always fun to remind myself that they can do more than just that. This brew is awesome. A hybrid of several styles I'd say, as each sip seems to bring out a note from a different style, and done well. Jet black appearance, with a rocky, active tan fizz head. Good roast, bold flavor, over a cream, chocolate middle. Malt bomb for sure, but the hops are there. Such a smooth porter. Or brown ale. Or English. Or Imperial India session pale dark chocolate English brown ale. Whatever it is, it's damn good.

16 oz can. Aroma is citrus peel, passionfruit, pineapple, orange creamsicle, pine. Pours hazy golden with a one finger bone-white head with great retention. Taste is lightly bittersweet with flavors matching the aroma, along with a caramel note; not as impressive as the aroma. Good to almost great.

16 oz can poured. Nice looking can, and an interesting brew here to try. Curious what to expect from a fresh hop winter IPA. Really tasty up front. Cloudy golden orange pour. Smooth front, hop constant. Orange and pine, both pretty soft. The piney constant has a winter reminder, which may just be because I know it's a winter themed brew, but it certainly gives off the seasonal impression. Flavorful brew here. Really like this one. Matchless never misses.
