Hazy gold with a thick head. Spicy nose, citrus, especially orange, mandarin orange, juicy, tropical fruit. Soft, sweet and silky flavor and palate, missing a bit of a punch in the flavor. A bit flabby.

Tap at Mother Tree. Clear bright gold. Nice nose of citrus, light pine. Pine resins and citrus hop flavor, plus some minerality reminiscent of Simcoe. Seems to lack a crispness that I want. Dank, bitter finish. Well made but missing that something extra.

Tap at Mother Tree. Koji beer wiht Sorachi Ace hops. Nose is Sorachi Ace, koji rice, sweet honey. Clear, bright golden color. Flavor is honey, melon, bigger Sorachi Ace hops, with their oak, vanilla, lemon, also honey and rice. Interesting.

Tap at Mother Tree. Very dark brown with orange tints and a thick low head. Nose is caramel, chocolate, and some pine and orange. Rich caramel flavor, chocolate, some piny resin and orange notes. Huge flavors and also huge bitterness which is a bit overwhelming. Definitely a pumped up Arrogant Bastard clone.

Tap at Mother Tree. Very pale yellow with lace. Minty nose, malt or corn grains, lemon. Lemony, crisp, mint flavor. Crisp malt finish with mint and citrus. Cleanly made.
