Had this at Dageraad. Pale and slight haze. Vinous and appley. Some butter on this, however. Really fucks up the entire thing. Not the first time Sunday's dropped a butterbomb, either.

355mL can, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny white head. Nose has apple skins, some sweet apple juice, and a tiny hint of champagne-like effervescence. Flavour is sweeter than expected, with apple skins, an apple juice concentrate character, and maybe a touch of sparkling character. Too sweet to be highly drinkable, and not enough dryness or funk to make it interesting. Not great.

On tap at Dageraad. Pours clear pale pink with a white head. Tons of apple skins and musty grape skins on the nose. Flavour has juicy apples, apple skins, gentle must from the grape skins. Semi-dry. Very nicely done.

On tap at Dageraad, pours a clear pink, no head. Nose has plenty of tannins, grape skins, and a touch of apple skins. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of grape skins, tannins, and some apple skins. Complex and cohesive. Very good.

Flight pour at Darby's. Pours clear amber. Tons of sweet apples, blackberry, cherry; a touch of funk. Flavour is definitely on the sweet side, though it is accented with some tartness from the berries. Errs too much on the sweet side, but the berries do help. Not bad.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma has plenty of bright elderflower and buttery caramel apples—basically no crispness. Flavour has lots of toffee apples, subtle elderflower, and a ton of bees wax—I don't think there's honey in here (?). Soft and integrated, a bit too sweet for me, though not particularly complex. Well-made.
