Sort of a hazy greyish colour. Soft body, light effervescence, juicy apple. Not bad. Less butter than the other one.

Fucking butter holy shit. The diacetyl straight up assaults the nose, before I even tried to smell it. It took a lot of cajones for me to even put this fucking diacetyl nuke to my lips. The botanicals cover the rancid butter up a bit in the finish. But motherfucking hell what is this goatfucking bullshit?

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2024, pours a clear blonde with a tiny head. Aroma is an absolute diacetyl bomb — what the fuck? Flavour is more of the gin botanicals but there's still egregious diacetyl. How does that happen in a cider?

750mL bottle, pours a dark red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of red grape juice, some red grape skins, and apple juice. Flavour is funky, with lots of red grape skins, some THP (cheerios), and apple skins. Gently tart, not the driest, but definitely not sweet. It's alright.

Unfiltered, tannin, bright apple, good complexity and light acidity. Balanced between approachability and complexity.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2023, pours a hazy bright pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice mix of crisp apple skins, grape skins, and a touch of sweetness. Flavour is dry, with floral grape skins, dry apple, and dry earthiness on the finish. Nice use of grapes but not particularly vinous. It's solid.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy dirty colour with almost no head — doesn't look appetizing. Aroma brings out an interesting mix of Chardonnay, buggy notes, light lacto, and crisp apple skins. Flavour is buggy, with lots of wild yeast, Chardonnay barrels, lacto, some light fusel alcohol notes, and crisp apple skins. Good ambition, funky, bretty, and dry, with an interesting barrel character. But then integration isn't there and it comes across fairly muddled. Fun but needs work.

Draft pour enjoyed at The Magnet, Vancouver. Cherry red pour, mostly clean. Bright cherry nose, with some soft apple. Flavor is really well balanced between apple and wine grape, with a dry finish. Easy drinking cider with plenty of unique qualities. Fun hybrid of brews here. I can get on board with this.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a hazy dark reddish amber with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out subtle grape skins, some apple juice, and light wild yeast. Flavour is gently funky, with a nice Malbec grape skin character, apple core, apple skins, and subtle funk. Nice addition of the grapes but the complexity isn't as great as I'd have hoped. Still, very tasty.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy, dirty blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out gentle-to-moderate sweetness, plus some honeydew and gentle apple skins. Flavour is full of honeydew melon, crisp apple skins, and low-to-medium sweetness. Not all that complex, but it's clean and pleasant. Tons of honeydew on the finish.
