Deep ruby red. Lots of spice, clove, yeast, candied sweets, dark fruits. A bit of that … non-Belgian, Belgian flavor that is unmistakable. Banana. Medium bodied. Needs some honing in.

Lemony with some pine as well. Clear golden with a white head. Medium bodied. Decent yet highly crushable.

Brown with a tan head. Some lightly roasted notes, chocolate, caramel malt. Medium thin body. Slightly dry finish. Very solid without being exceptional. Still, seems like it has improved a fair bit from previous raters.

Tap at Awashima. Smells of mint! Taste is a little unusual. Feels supercharged with booze. Not sure to be honest but it's going down ok. The mint thing is off putting and there's a bit of macro malty sweetness behind it too. Will have to go to the brewery to check it properly.

Tap @ Keyaki Beer Festival Autumn 2017. Hazy yellow, whitish. Nose has some light spice, bread and yeast character. Taste is light herbal, yeast and spicy-peppery. Bit messy but overall not too bad. Also bitterness feels maybe a bit harsh and not balanced. Drinkable.
