Tap at Before 9. Brown-orange, hazy, with lace. Nose of caramel, chocolate, fruity, minerals. Light and a bit thin, with caramel, mineral, some peach. Ok.

Imperial Torigara IPA from Minami Yokohama Beer Labo

Tap at Before 9. Glowing orange amber, hazy, with lace. Nose of oranges, chicken broth, caramel, grapes. Caramel flavor, orange and peach, salty, with a bitter, peppery finish. Interesting and not all that weird for having chicken in it.

Tap at Before 9. Estery nose, peaches, some bread. Dirty orange color, cloudy. MAlty, estery flavor, caramel. Nice light carbonation, but very yeasty and lost in direction.

Tap at Before 9. Cloudy pale gold with lace. Crisp, herbal nose, pineapple, crackers, but of cat piss. Light tartness, very dry, mineral. Not sweet.

Lots of cocoa, plastic and soy notes. A bit sour but the plastic distracts. Sour.Porter on training wheels. Meh.

Very hazy chalk white golden color. Very yeasty nose, but fairly undistinguished. Hoppy dirty but balanced and enjoyable. Kinda what a saison might taste like from a second teir brewery in the NE. Very drinkable.

Tap at the brewpub. Nose of cocoa, mizuame, some soy sauce. Sweet flavor, umami, cocoa, dry and woody finish. Decent, not yet perfect, but good. I prefer less of the soy flavors.

Tap at the brewpub. Very sweat, dank nose, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Huge Mosaic flavor, a bit pissy and dank, grapefruit, tropical. Great showcase for the hops, good balance with the malt staying in the background.

Tap at the brewpub. Tart, lemony nose, grapefruit, crackers. Cloudy gold with a fine, high, head. Sweet and a bit rough, estery, citrus hops, yeasty and peppery. Ok but the fermentation not really clean enough.
