Medium brown, lots of ginger, and a touch of roast, sweet and gingery, body is a bit thin. Not sold on ginger imperial stout, but a thin one will definitely not sell me.

On tap at Hopwired, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp saison yeast and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly crisp and grainy, with earthy notes and cereal graininess. Dry, straw-like and seltzery. Meh.

On tap at Hopwired, pours a dirty deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of ginger upfront, followed by nutmeg and a touch of cinnamon. Flavour is sweet and spicy, with lots of ginger and nutmeg, and lots of sweetness. Very dirty and haphazard. Weak body. Not digging this.

Clear gold body with white head. Light floral aroma. Light bodied like a pale lager with malt forwardness. Some w\sweetness in finish.

Bright and red, just a thin head. Sweet, with lots of vanilla, light cherry, just a hint of bitterness. Definitely more milkshake than IPA, as the vanilla really ends up as the dominant characteristic. Good beer but I might want more balance.

1 pint can. Pours a dark brown with full head. Aromas of one and toasted malts. Flavors of syrupy sugar, light pint and toasted malts. Smooth and creamy but somewhat out of balance with the piney hops.

16 oz. can, pours an opaque cloudy peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out pithy stone fruits, earthy hops, and some resins. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy and resinous hops, pithy stone fruits, and bready malt. Earthy and resinous, with a pithy finish.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Black colour with large, brown, compact head. Aroma of roasted malts, no coffee, maybe some cardboard. Good body strength, it's just moderately sweet, good balance with the coffee and roasted malt notes, a bit creamy (lactose?), burnt nuts, and a hint of liquorice. The alcohol is barely noticeable, if anything it contributes to the balance.
The flavours come together in harmony, it's balanced, very good.

Blond colour, hazy. Light aroma of vegetable (maybe carrot). Lean, sweet, clean base but not much to say about it, with a touch of lactose and spices.
Weird but not bad.

Clearish gold with a decent white head. Vegetal, sweet and cinnamon notes. Sweet and perfumy with raisin and baking spice. Not good.
