Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Nice looking pour, medium amber, slight haze, thick foamy head. Aroma looks at the malts, dry and grainy. Taste picks up on the hops, light citrus, bitter, salty. Seems light, tastes heavy.

Pours relatively clear golden, nice fluffy white head. Aroma is grainy, bit of wet cardboard there, probably not the freshest beer around. Tastes sweetish, crisp malts, some honey sweetness. Finishing dry and with some dry bitterness scorching my tongue for a bit longer. Drinks OK, feels maybe slightly oxidised and overall, still not very complicated. Would like to have it when its at its freshest, probably would bee pretty nice summer day companion.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Orange amber body, small head rise up from the depths. Slow, lazy carbonation. Thick, syrupy consistency. Aroma is malt, toffee and oranges. Taste is mildly sweet, malty. Almost barley wine. Doesn’t seem like 10% at all. Smooth.

Bottle cloudy light beige yellow. Thin fine off white head. Nice fresh citrus and grassy hop aromas and flavors. Light toasted malts and some woody character. Decent bitterness

Draft at Homestead. Hazy orange golden body, skin of head. Aroma is mildly sweet and fruity. Taste adds some sharp tangy bitterness, citrus, tropical notes. Bitter bite lingers softly, for a while. Good with food.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Dark ebony pour with thick, lasting head. Full aroma of roasted grains, some coffee bitterness apparent. Taste brings more roast grains, but not overly bitter, pretty damn smooth. Mouthfeel is great too. All round decent stout.

Draft at Growler Guys. Glad to see this style make an appearance in the NW. Pretty spot on, too. Dark malts abound, perhaps not as bitter as a Kostritzer, but close. Dark brown with small wispy head. Aroma is pure roast grains, coffee notes. Taste also is straight up toasty and burnt toast. Light lager body carries it through. Prost!
