Bottle from SuperBioMarkt, Wuppertal. Grainy smooth nose. The beer starts fresh fruity, very round and deep. Lots of smooth amber malts there, Mai-bock typical aroma, fresh with grainy hints, lots of dry round caramel. Very soft and easy to drink, moderate sweetish, very round and fresh. Fantastic round brew with grainy hints.

Bottled, thanks Beerhunter111! Hazy dark brown, small head. Cookie dough and red berries up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and bready, lightly peppery. Low bitterness. Quite mild.

500ml bottle. Milky, orangey golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly strawy and grainy, minimally citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of lemon peel, a touch of fresh hay and lemon balm. Taste is herbal-spicy hoppy, notes of lemon balm, a touch of sage, fresh hay, minimally strawy and grainy, pale malty basis; slightly watery.

Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma had hay and grassy hops. Flavor had a herbal hop taste with grassy and malty hints. Felt like old hops to be honest. Finished dry and slightly bitter. Good body for 3.5% beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma of honey, lemon zest, bread and a bit of grapefruit. Taste of bread, hay, lemon zest and floral hops. The aroma is surprisingly citrusy for a German pils, but the taste is doesn’t show much of this character. I like it.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma of bread, apples and pears. Taste of bread, grains, apples, pears, and floral hops. Fruitier than the average kölsch, but because of that it has more character too. I liked this the most from all the kölsch beers I tasted in Köln.
