Keyaki. Aroma is lightly interesting, taste similarly. Maybe not so exciting. Lightly fruity, lightly malty, lightly everything.

Tap at CBM Koenji. Bubblegum, spice, citrus spike. Quite nice further down when it mellows but the start is a bit harsh. US style, well spiced. Nice enough though.

Keyaki. Hmmm. Dark and caramelly but with a significant hoppy finish. Different. Think the name says it all really, but it was actually quite nice. ---

Can't remember where this was. Nice enough. Fruity hoppiness, fairly low carb, bit of malty sweetness. Decent drinkable drop but maybe a little sharp.

Tap at CBM JInbocho Terrace. What's going with the name?! Not much going on. Bitter, bit earthy, twiggy. Possibly a hint of citrus but only a hint. Not as I expected. Don't really get any of the three disparate elements suggested in the name.

CB Awajicho. Nice aroma, lemon grassy, malty. Taste is a bit more subdued, more malt, english bitter style, light spiciness. Alright.

Tap at iBrew. Really floral aroma, citrus, sharp, bit of roast too. Taste is similarly lemony, but with roast in the back. Parma violets. Most lemony BIPA I've had I think. Nice enough.

Tap at Himalaya Table. Honey, sweet, bit of an overload. Citrus, sweet malt. Bit too much I think, not really with it. Not bad, but just a bit confused. 48 different hops is too many I think..

Tap at iBrew. My feeling about the 48 hop IPA they did was that it was a bit muddled. So unsurprisingly, the addition of another 7 hop types hasn't really helped. Unsurprisingly a bit murky. Aroma is a bit piney. Avalanche of hops has got rid of most of the hop flavour. Light caramel and light bitterness. Seems you can get too much of a good thing. Not bad, but one is enough.

Keyaki. Light, unobtrusive, light citrus, grassy, nothing so surprising, but actually just nice. Little bit of biscuity malt.
