3rd LCRBM. Sedate aroma with just a bit of citrus. Citric, somewhat yeasty flavor. The malty sweetness hides the alcohol. Not great but certainly drinkable.

Tap @ BBF 2010. Blonde. Soft citrus aroma. Grassy citric flavor with cellar notes. Yeasty, cellar-like aftertaste. Disappointing.

Bottle from Kölschtrinker, thanks! Pinkish red color. Soft floral aroma. with citrus and red fruit. Slightly yeasty tart flavor with red fruit. Decent.

33cl bottle. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of dark moderate roasted malt, burned malt, dark fruits, coffee. Taste of dark roasted malt, liquorice, chocolate and some dark fruits.

0.75 l bottle from 'Hopfenrausch', best before November 2026, cellared for two-and-a-half years. Murky, ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, light beige head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, quite vinous, gently fruity aroma of red wine, oak, figs, sour cherries and some almond. Slightly sweet, moderately sour, a bit malty, quite vinous and gently fruity taste of red wine, oak, almond, sour cherries, raspberries and hints of chocolate, followed by a short, moderately tart, fairly vinous, slightly woody finish. Medium body, a little astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid beer with pleasant vinous notes, unfortunately not as complex as it could have been.

Bottle thanks Roman, shared in Rome-Italy. Amber pour with orange highlights, tick frothy pinkish foam. Nose: tons of berries, aged fine, pretty round. Mouth: soft carbo, hidden sourness, very balanced berries. Ciao Roman.

Dunkel malziger, cremig karamellig-herber Beginn. Kaum karbonisiert, was aber nicht stört. Schokolade, ein Hauch Alkohol, Süßholz, spät mit hopfigem Hintergrund. Weich malziger Abgang, vollmundig. Gut! 13/11/12/12//12

Beerig hopfiger Beginn, Alkohol, harsche Herbe, insgesamt aber durchaus harmonisch. Süffiger, leicht kaugummiartiger Mittelteil, ansteigend bitter. Trocken beerig-fruchtiger Abgang, kurzer Nachgeschmack. 10/11/9/10//10
