Tap at the brewery. Pours orange gold with faint cereal aromas. Tastes of grains, bread, lucky charms, caramel, and berries but all those flavors are light. Easy drinking and not unpleasant but my least favorite of sampler

Bottle at the brewpub, on January 28, 2012As ""Porter" at 5% ABV, not sure if my rating belongs here, or if a new beer should be added?Website http://www.508nyc.com/menu/beer states on Feb 2 "508 Porter 5.0% ABV (Roasted with a lightly burnt coffee like, black malt character, grainy, bready, toffee-like, caramel, chocolate. Roasted dryness in the finish) "My rating:Black color, big fluffy dark brown head. Salty, roasted, chocolate cent, some char coal. Sweet, alcohol, salty taste. Moussy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
