Sampled on draft at Denny’s Beer Barrel in Clearfield PA this beer poured a dark golden color with a small foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was strong caramel apple and dough. The flavor was caramel, apple pie and bread and cookie dough. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a red-amber color with a large creamy orange-beige head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was bitter, perfumey hops and a bit of sweet fruitiness. The flavor was bitter and boozy with fruity hops, some perfume, an herbal presence, underlying sweetness and then more perfume. Very long perfume and herbal hop finish. Moderately full bodied. Booziness grows. Meh.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured thick and black with a small creamy brown head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet, malty and toasty with notes of cocoa and cherry. The flavor was chocolate, malty and toasty with faint cherry and malted milk. Long cocoa finish. Moderately full bodied and creamy. Alcohol well contained. Well done.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a medium. Sized creamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty and sweetish with a touch of caramel. The flavor was tangy, sweet and malty with golden fruits, caramel, a hint of tobacco and faint bitterness. Medium length finish. Medium body and smooth.

The aroma was malty, a bit roasty and had a moderate floral hops presence. The flavor was bitter, roasty and malty with moderate floral hops. Long hoppy finish. Medium body. Meh.
