Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 1D). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L130319 (BBF 01/2020). AROMA: medium hop aroma with citrus notes (grapefruit), low metallic note. low wheat background with a slightly sweet character. APPEARANCE: gold colour and just slightly hazy. medium white head, creamy, with medium-low retention. TASTE: initial medium hop flavour with a piny and slightly fruity notes (grapefruit), followed by a low wheat and faint yeast background. low esters (oranges). medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an american wheat with more emphasis on hops and bitterness than wheat. ok nonetheless.

AROMA: medium hop aroma with floral and slight herbaceous notes. medium-low background malt note with a slight caramelly character. APPEARANCE: deep gold to light amber colour and clear. medium off-white head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low hop notes (floral, slight herbaceous, pine). medium-low malt background with a slight caramelly component. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-high carbonation. OVERALL: a decent india pale ale.

Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en licht bitter hoppig met iets van chocolade en koffie. Best goed zou iets meer body mogen hebben.

Tap @ Duque Brewpub, Lisbon. Pours a generally clear gold with a faint mist, large white head. Floral nose. Taste presents a gentle floral character, soft wheat textures with a decent citrus hop presence. Not bad.
