Brownest black. Aroma is dark chocolate, some leaves, maple syrup, lots of caramel. Taste is much nuts, a bit sour and bittersweet chocolate. Nuts in the finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Darkest brown, golden brown head. Coffee ground, licorice and burned maple sirup nose. Medium light body, quite dry on the palate. Honey, coffee, licorice, honeyroast finish.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, maple, walnuts. Taste is walnuts, chocolate. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. I don't like walnuts, and this indeed tastes like walnuts - not sure if I should give a higher or lower score because of that.

100ml on tap at Mikkeller Mitte. Spotty lacing from a filmy layer, coal black body. Malt-driven aroma of nuts and dark bread. Blended taste of oak, dark dough, and earth. Lingering, semi sweet malty finish. A bit mealy in the mouth. Medium bodied. Quite pleased. (Berlin 15.01.2018).
