20th Anniversary BA Barleywine 12.5%
A murky ruddy brown with virtually no foam beyond a brief beige flash of fizziness. Big caramel and cocoa with sweet bourbon notes. Full bodied, fig and chocolate covered raisins. It’s sweet but the barrel character balances it out.
Good stuff, probably it’ll peak in 6-12 months.

aroma of burnt soy, salmon, booze, and burnt malt. Flavor was insanely sweet, and cloying. Notes of port, and roasted malt, with touches of cocoa, and soy. Didnt enjoy this very much.

From tap at Constellation, Budapest, 20.02.25. Cloudy orange straw colour. Diminishing off-white head. Fine aroma and taste of Sevilla marmalade, solid malt, papaya, mandarins and sap, all of which is lingering on in aftertaste.

Pretty good! Like a house ipa pale ale version. Bit of caramel in the chewy maltiness. Don’t get the citrus hops that they say are in there. Bit of dankness. This is quite fun.

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is rich caramel malt, big notes of sherry and whiskey, lots of oak, toffee, vanilla, fairly boozy. Flavour is massively sweet. Body is full and sticky. Thick and full boozy beer, tasty!

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is floral and quite candied with ripe fruity and herbal notes. Flavour is rather sweet with an above medium bitter(sweet) finish. Body is medium to full. Tasty sweet fruity floral-ish big beer to slowly sip on.

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is nicely fruity hoppy with soft dank notes, citrus, peach, light pale malt and mild tropical fruits. Flavour is mildly sweet with a medium bitter and dry-ish finish. Body is medium. Good IPA!

This poured a deep russet brown with thin light beige foam that didn’t linger nor leave any lacing behind.
Big caramel aroma with barrel notes. This is syrupy sweet caramel, oak and molasses with nice warmth.
Not complex but really damn nice.
