Can @ Hotelroom, Kunshan. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, sugar, plastic, strange smelling overripe fruit. Taste is cardboard, plastic, well very bad. Thin body, low carbonation. 110112

Canned in Shenyang, Liaoning (as Lanying Chungshengtai Beer 10P, EAN 6921717721306, the phone number 0315-51179991 indicating it to be from Tangshan in Hebei.) Clear golden, average sized head. Fruity phenolic aroma with pleny of cardboard. Dryish and fruity, light bodied with some cardboard and rice. Slight salty bitterness. A simple adjnct lager without ambition.

Insipidy kind of colour. Some green fruit aroma with berries. Quite watery, with some weird fruitiness. Some funny mineral or maybe aspartame on the tongue in the finish.

Clear golden coloured body with a frothy white head. Aroma of metal, lemons, pale malt and a bit of cardboard -nothing too pleasant, but not bad. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic flavour with malt, fake sugars and a noticeable (which isn’t much) bit of hops in the mix. Aftertaste is mild but refreshing, actually in the summer heat. Overall, worth trying, but not a great beer - but that’s probably expected! I sampled this 33 cL can, purchased in a small shop on Youtong St (Near Suzhou Hutong) - that’s the best pinyin I have :-) in Beijing, PRC on 12-August-2007.

Herb-fruchtiger, angenehmer Geruch. Saures, ins Metall gehende unangenehme Aroma, es wirkt etwas faul. Mit der Zeit wird das allerdings besser, bleibt aber etwas unangenehm. Der Abgang ist leicht bananig. Kann mich nicht überzeugen. Test vom 16.10.2006, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 7,4,5,4,2,4 - 4,35

Dull gold colour. Aroma of coconut, jaggery and palm oil. Is this a beer or an Indian dessert? Cidery, adjunct-laden body with hint of canned jalapenos. Watery and fizzy. You can’t call it boring, but it’s fucking brutal.

Pale straw colour. Head dissipates like it was Perrier. Grainy, slightly wine-like aroma. Fizzy. This gets in the way of whatever flavour this beer might have had. Finish is sugary sweet but mercifully quick.
