Description
The world of beer is incredibly rich and divers. We want our beers to echo that diversity. We want to pair tradition with innovation,we respect our Belgian roots but we also keep track of evolutions in Belgium and abroad,
Our brewing installation was custom built for us to enable us to go wide in beerstyles en wild in our experiments. From blonde to dark, bitter to sweet, malty to hoppy, fruity or roasted, quaffable or sturdy,…anything goes.
We started our very first ‘brewmonth’ with a pale ale, afterwards we brewed a farmhouse tripel, aWest Coast IPA and a Baltic Porter.
We immediately set the tone for what you can expect from us, a trip around the world in beer. Sometimes quite familiar, other times surprisingly new but always worth the travel.

Off-white body with a white rocky head. Lightly hippy aroma. Intensely bitter flavour from hops. Extremely good pilsner.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus @ Drebus’ birthday tasting. Hazy slightly pale yellow color, average sized white head. Aroma is -like the bottle fermented version- dusty, moldy and metallic. Taste malts, again very bitter for a pils imo, malt bitter, hop bitter, not much else. Hmm I don’t know, it’s OK but I wouldn’t order another one.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus @ Drebus’ birthday tasting. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, a bit metallic, bit moldy. Taste is better: nice malt base, bitter hops, malt bitter and overall a firm bitterness. Perhaps too bitter for some. Ok beer.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear clear golden colour with a firm medium sized white head. Smells malts, grains, less farty than the hergisted one. Tastes malts, grains, slightly bitter. Less soapy than the other one. Medium body, soft carbo. I would be fucked if the brewers intended to screw us over and put the same beer in different bottles, because I feel I can taste a difference between the two.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear golden colour with a firm, medium sized white head. Smells malts, grains, slightly farty - but that might be benzai. Tastes grains, bitter, quite soapy/shampoo, slightly herbal (thyme, lavender). Medium body, perfect carbo.

26/07/2015 @ home - 75cl bottle I won @Gents Bierfestival 2015. Golden orange colour with perfect head that stays longtime. Aroma is exotic fruits, malts. Taste : citrus, orange, some grains, bitter with a light sweetness. Best pilsener I ever had, certainly for the aroma, but also for the taste. Reminds me of IPA however, even in that style it wouldn’t be bad

Golden. Light to medium bitterness. Hint of sweet malt. Marginally better than a regular pilsener.
