From the ex Mugi, Bussigny. Opening this can yesterday in our cauldron, so hot, solid porter and perfect with our apero time, fresh and malty, roasty, a bit sweet, fruity note due to the rye probably, yeasty, floral and aromatic, malty, 12.07.23, at Epalinges.

(Can) Hazy brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark bread, spicy rye, dried fruit, raisins, prunes, chocolate, oak wood and whisky. Malty, vinous taste with dark rye bread, caramel, dried fruit, raisins, prunes, figs, brown sugar, oak wood, whisky, chocolate and a balanced spicy bitterness in a slightly boozy finish. Full body, quite sweet. Boozy and warming, still rich and tasty. Very nice.

44cl can from Akadeemia Konsum, Tallinn. Pours clear, pale golden with a modest, white head. Mild fruity aroma, grainy notes and hints of sweet citrus. Moderate to medium with with fairly low flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. Light and almost watery, but drinkable enough.

Nautica Rimi, Tallinn. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some floral and mild toffeeish tones. Flavour is grainy, floral, herbal and grassy with some mild earthy tones.

Can at Goblet with Karlo. Pitch black body, lazy carbonation, low off-white head. Creamy oaky raisiny aroma, sharp oxidation. Creamy, sweetish, oaky sweetish taste, wood, raisins, dried berries, figs, dust, some tea... Oxidation evident, but expected far worse. Glad to have caught one of the two cans left here... and maybe in existence.

44cl can from Selver, Tallinn. Pours caramel coloured with a modest, off-white head. Fruity, malty and caramelly aroma with notes of berries, resin and hints of citrus. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a fairly pleasant bitterness.

440ml can, thanks to visionthing for this one. Shared at a rating session with Lunde and Finn. Pearl white head, unclear orange coloured body, spotty lacing. Moderate spiced fruity smell, mid-dry. Spiced taste profile containing moments of yeasty fruits and mild mid-sweet malts. Oak-fruity ending. Okay not that well balanced (Tromsø, 04.12.2025)
