Hoppy Road is a French brewery founded in Nancy in 2017 by Julien Pecheur, Lucas Del Biondo and Charles Sanner. Julien and Lucas started as homebrewer, and after winning the first prize in 2015 at the Paris Beer Week, they decided to start brewing studies at the Institut de la Brasserie et de la Malterie. In 2017 they joined with Charles and started with the brewery. Their brewery in Nancy has a capacity of 2.000 Hl per year.

Fraught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, shared by Beerhunter111.
Amber, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of lemonthyme, lime, sweet spices, wheat.
Tastes pretty similar.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes moderate sweet, a bit spicy, a bit dry, lemony, floral.

Nice one. Really interesting, very fresh impressions from the adjuncts, drinks really quaffable. Nothing outstanding, but perfect summer beer.

0,25l from tap at Moeder Lambic shared by Beerhunter111, big thanks. Amber hazy colour, small white head. Smells citric, spices, herbal, thyme, earthy. Light body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes citric, earthy, spices, herbal, thyme, lemonade. finishes lightly dry with notes of thyme, lime and citric notes. Pretty decent one

Bottled. A black beer with a huge lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted mskt, chocolate, citrus fruits, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, bread, roasted malt, citrus fruits, and hops , leading to a bitter finish.

Tap at La Fine Mousse, 5th June 18. Pours a thick black stout with a black blue bubbly head. Aroma is vineous, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. Taste is full on, milk chocolate, some berry, slight sour, roasted. Thick palate. Really good one again for Hoppy Road.
