After borrowing other peoples breweries for some years, Beerhere had found quite a following of beer drinkers around the world, that enjoyed beer a little outside the normal styles, while still maintaining high drinkability and the omissions of too many silly ingredients and gimicky BS. So at a certain point it was time to build our own brewery on the island of Bornholm. We found an old fishing factory right on the harbour of a little fishing village and in the summer of 2015 our first beer was released. The brewery is shared with our other brand Penyllan, which focuses on wild fermentation and barrel aging.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head, which does last for a while. Aroma is citrus, some grains, mild herbal tones. Flavour is citrus, grains, herbal and mild lemongrassy notes.

Draught@Man In The Moon, Stockholm. Golden colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is grass, herbs and some slight sweet grainy elements. Flavour is grainy, grassy, herbal and some mild buttery to it. Grassy bitter finish with some mild grainy tones too.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, grainy, some earthy and herbal tones. Flavour is floral, grassy, grainy, earthy and mild bready tones. Not much rye in there, but nicely mellow brew.

Bottled (from Alko). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruits, some floral and mild caramel tones. Flavour is biscuity, bready and some pine, grapefruits, floral and mild wooden and fruity tones as well.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Goldeny orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, some toffee and mild toasted tones with some fudgelike elements. Flavour is fruity, some berries, mild berries and some toffeeish tones. A bit messy.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and some yeast and mild apples along with some slight toffeeish tones. Flavour is fruity, some yeast, mild toffee and a bit toasted tones. Slightly on the watery side. A bit homebrewish.

Notater fra en hyggelig rb-kveld sammen med trekkspilleren på Våland: vakker mørkerød med fint skum som varer. Svisker, røde skogsbær, knekk, ristet brød og litt citrus. Delikate kryddertoner fra den belgiske gjæren. Tydelig mersmak, og denne 0,33 flasken var innkjøpt på bryggeriet og fraktet hit av Einar E.

Takk til Einar E for denne 0,33 flasken, fra bryggeriutsalget på Bornholm: lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Mildt krydret aroma og smak med urter, litt citrus, gress og brød. God maltsmak, fin bitterhet og lett syrlig forfriskende avslutning. Hadde fint greid en halvliter eller to fra fat.
