Bottle from brewery. Barwa czerwona niczym samolot przed hotelowym browarem. O ciemno kasztanowym odcieniu, mętne bardzo do tego kremowa spora beżowa piana, średnio trwala. Średnie ciało ale za to sporą kwasowość zimną kawa po turecku, nieco jakiejś lukrecji. Ciekawe, inne Mao słodowe zupełnie bardziej jak czeskie tmave niż wiedeński lager. Pomyłka?

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. BA supported, sweet-ish, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy aroma, hints of banana, honey, seasoned apple, some dried fruit, raisin, a touch of Bourbon, leather, a minimally tart-ish, oaky touch, clove overtones, whiffs of mustard seed. Taste is slightly dry, woody, tart-ish oaky, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, wheaty malty basis with low residual sweetness, hints of banana, Bourbon, seasoned apple, a touch of clove and mustard seed; tart-ish, almost a tad lactic and funky, oaky aspects are more disruptive than supportive. Slightly oily and ceamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Decent Weizenbock with well controlled sweetness that probably doesn't profit from BA - bummer!

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm (given this gratis by brewer) and consumed at home Saturday 23rd September 2023 listening to Dreamwife - Social Lubrication, cooking Baked Pork, Apple and Cheddar Meatballs in the wood oven. Sadly I think that this is suffering from a slight infection which is a shame. But otherwise, it pours reddy brown almost clear, there's an off white head, soft in the mouth, fruity but sadly infected, you can pick it up on the nose before you even taste it.

Tap (Lotny Festiwal Piwa, Wrocław). Klasyka w bardzo dobrym wydaniu, leciutkie, orzeźwiające nie ma się co rozwodzić po prostu chlalne.

Bottle courtesy of the owners of Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, actually the brewer was also responsible as he gave it to the owner, had at Dave's, Unterhaching München RB tasting group, Friday 21st July 2023. Nice softness in mouth, a little pushy on the palate, unusual aroma, quite a bristle across the tongue, a light amber colour. Citrussy, I quite liked it but it's not without its peculiarities.

Bottle. Murky light walnut. Nose is grain, wet, herbal gooseberry, gummibears. Sparkly edgy strong coffee front. Then fluff and nothingness, sweet.

Bottle from Fin, very interesting lychee floral nose, esoteric papaya and such. Caramelly, slightly vegetal, woody, interesting medley of flavors. Pretty big bitterness balanced decently by the residual sweetness.

Hazy amber. Aroma is herbs mint honey rosemary caramel. Taste is honey caramel sweetness with rosemary herb bitterness. Nice balance. Somewhat awkward finish.
