500ml bottle from Utobeer. Copper gold colour with thin white head. Attractive sweet hop aroma. I had been in Prague for 4 days so smelling a distinctive intense hop aroma was a major plus. Some earthiness too. Muddy earthy in mouth with more grapefruit/mud on the end. US hop style influence. Fine. Just too earthy. Malt needs better definition too. Aroma is good and aftertaste due to the intense hop. Earthiness in the middlle needs sorting out

500ml bottle from Utobeer. Cloudy amber colour with thin off white head. Sweetish hop aroma, bit of plastic, some promise of syrupy fruit. OK in mouth, some red fruit flavour. Hops on end are quite peppery and hot. Bit muddy and earthy. Hopa are nice, but the rest is not too interesting

500 ml bottle. Quite pale in colour and surprisingly strong aroma, plenty of citrus and hops. The flavour is also dominated by citrus and fruity with some grass. I find this beer a bit strange but pleasant. It might feels a bit unbalanced at the first sip to have all this hoppyness inside a relatively light beer. After a few more sips it feels more natural and I think this is really nice pale ale in the crossover area to IPA.

Bottled. Lightly hazy, orange beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of pear, hops and spices. Well-hopped flavor with a light fruitiness. Light fizzy in the mouth and you can feel the hops wearing on the enamel of your teeth. Definately not a session beer, more an "imperial" pale ale, at least in terms of hoppiness. (060315)
