Description
After few years of rest, Nambawan is back in store with a brand new recipe and taste. Vanuatu's first very own Ale is refreshing and surprising. Golden light beer with caramel and tropical fruits taste that last in the mouth and a bitterness after taste.

NOTE: It appears that Nambawan is now just a brand of Vanuatu Brewing Limited (Tusker), though information is unclear. The facebook page states "Brewed and bottled by Vanuatu Brewing Limited".

Dull pale brown. Aroma is paint (as usual for the brewery), with light caramel. Light caramel taste, maybe a hint of tartness. Thin. Doesn’t develop any complexity. A little disappointing.

Cloudy dull colour. Smells like plastic and paint. Tastes the same. No real beer character, just faults. Bleh.

Dull apple juice colour. Rotten apple aroma. Sweet taste, light brown sugar note. Slight tartness late. A bit watery. Not sure what to make of this. It’s different, if nothing else.

Pale gold. Vague malt. Tastes homebrewy - wort, fusels, watery and a bit appley. Not very good. Don’t like these faults.

"Bitter" here is the Australian context. Pale gold. Aroma is a big plasticy. Watery taste, pretty bland. Maybe some malt, but mostly plasticy. Not very successful.
