Description
Hare Moon cider is made from apples grown, pressed and bottled at Wigginton Farm, St. Martins. Varieties such as Dabinett, Harry Masters Jersey, Browns, Langworthy and Kingston Black and more recently, Yarlington Mill are grown on organic land, free of sprays and fertiliser. The brown hare, of which this cider is named, is resident in the orchard, enjoying the shelter and windfalls the apple trees provide.

Many thanks to minutemat for this bottle. Fruity nose. The cider starts not too dry with nice tannins in the back. Very fruity, smooth dry-sweetish apples with a nice intense layer of tannins on the tongue. Thirst-quenching and fruity deep, while the finish is beside the tannins a bit short. But round, fruity and well-balanced cider. Nice one.

500ml bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury. Pours clear orange, good medium sweet apple fruit aroma. Taste presents a good fruity blend, some raw fleshy fruit, moderately drying tang, lots of pure juice. Interesting fruitiness here. Really not bad at all fron a new producer.
