In a sampler pack: pours pale. Barely any aroma or taste. Clean I guess but they really hit the nail on the head. Why bother.

Pours light gold with a lingering white head. okay. Smells lightly citrusy and hoppy. The flavor has mild to moderate bitterness, some citrus, and a fairly bland grainy malt profile. It’s an acceptable session IPA.

(Can) Black colour with creamy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with oak wood, dark bread, dark chocolate, roasted almonds, coffee, tobacco, liquorice, bourbon and vanilla. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark bread, chocolate, cacao, almonds, coffee, butterscotch, liquorice, bourbon, vanilla and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. Full body, quite sweet. Thick, rich and slightly boozy. Still fairly well balanced, with lots of flavours. Very nice.

Can sent for my comment. Clear straw/gold color, tall fizzy foam head. Smell is big with those advertised tropical fruits, citrus and pine. But when it goes into my mouth, all those exotic Pacific hop notes are gone. Just a nice big note of hop bitterness. Harkens back to the original days of American pale ales.

Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is aloe vera, some soapy and candy tones to it with mild mushroomy elements. Flavour is champignon (well Umami really?), some floral and mild citrusy and peachy tones to it. Umami IPA? Strange.

0.568l can. Hazy golden body with a thick and lasting white head. Aroma of orange zest, peach, grapefruit, lemon zest and some pine. Taste of peach, grapefruit, sugar syrup, pine, lemon zest and a bit of burnt sugar. Somewhat thicker than medium body, average carbonation, long bitter finish. Very nice IIPA.

An absolute dessert classic! A stupendous, dense dark tan head on a near black body. The nose features chocolate, fresh coffee, cream, an underlying hoppiness, spice and a slight vegetal element. Classic taste elements for a monster IS - fresh ground heavily roasted coffee, molasses and toffee, butter, cream, chocolate, ripe berries and balancing hops. Solid carbonation keeps it from being too sticky. The oats add to the density and help sustain the taste.
