Description
Former name: "Revensberger Brauerei". Plans were to build an own brewery "before airport BER starts to operate" but the own brewery was opened in 2022 (BER: 2020). Before the beers were brewed at Brauerei Westheim.

Draft @ the source. Cloudy dark yellow sporting a proper white head. Aroma of grains, wheat and lemons. Taste follows aroma. Very tart and sour. Low bitterness. Strong carbonation. It’s ok I guess but then again I wouldn’t trust myself in principle when it comes to Berliner Weisse.

750ml bottle [gusher alert!]. Hazy, orange golden colour with huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Yeasty funky and fruity aroma, sweet-ish notes of strawberry, cooked strawberries, some fruit acid. Taste is mildly tart, minimaly grainy malty with some residual sweetness, and minimally fruity, a touch of strawberry, some fruit acid, a touch of citric acid.
Watery texture but quite some body, minimally astringent palate, medium, prickly to lively carbonation.
Light, fairly refreshing - barely better than losing a Cup Final.
750ml bottle suffices to fill a 330ml glass (and ruin your table).

Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark orange/amber with a small white head. Aroma of grains, malts, herbal hops and metal. Taste of grains, malts, some caramel, minerals and hints of undisclosed citrus fruits. Dry finish. Surprisingly strong bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. It’s alright but it’s not like I’m overwhelmed with joy.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, amber colour with average, thick, dense, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally grainy and strawy, malty aroma, minimally fruity hoppy overtones, hints of silage, a touch of mandarine. Taste is mildly bitter, minimally fruity hoppy, minimally strawy, grainy, malty basis, hints of mandarine; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice mouthfeel, but rather expressionless, flavourless - not really convincing.

Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow with a small white head. Aroma of fresh lemons and a little bit of oranges. Taste of lemons, sugar and perhaps some grains and straw. Low bitterness. Strong carbonation. The beer side of things is very much dialed back but it gets it’s job done.

Golden, cloudy with a medium white head. A tropical fruity nose, with malt, honey and hops sense. Medium bitter with a fruity, honey and floral end. Not bad! Gutersloh holiday 2023.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly ephemeral, citrusy and tropical fruity, minimally resinous, hoppy aroma, biscuity, pale malty background, hints of lemon, mandarine, some mango, nectarine, physalis, minimally grassy and piney overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly biscuity, pale malty, mildly bitter, tropical and citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of tangerine, some woody pineapple. Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, harmonious, highly drinkable - very nice. Big ups! Another step forward for Bielefelder Braumanufaktur.

Bottle. Muddy murky dark orange/brown with a very small and really short-lived white head. Mild aroma of caramel, oranges and malts. Taste of caramel, malts, cough syrup, malt lozenges, oranges and lemons with hints of herbs ending with a sticky sweetness. Low to moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. I’m not sure what they were aiming for with this one but I‘m not convinced they were successful.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, deep reddish, amber colour with small, frothy, fading, off-whiet to beige head. Mellow malty and slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of red berries, red currant, strawberry, a touch of orange, mandarine. Taste is slightly sugary, caramel malty, slightly fruity hoppy, hints of red berries, a touch of orange, mandarine, candied orange peel, minimally metallic overtones. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture with a minimally oily strand, slightly dry and minimally repellent, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Fairly fruity and balanced, a tad sugary - again another decent new brew since they are running their own facility.
