On tap at the brewery, sat outside in the Biergarten, Bad Kötzting, Saturday 20th July 2024 after a cycle ride from Kanu Camping, Blaibach. Pours dark murky brown with an off white heading towards light beige. Nuttiness and a real softness, there is a little bit of a tang and a hint of chocolate. It's very good.

On tap at the brewpub, Gasthof zur Post, Bad Kötzting Friday 15th December 2023. Pours warm hazy orange gold with a huge white head. Soft mouthfeel, typical hefe weise touches, good beer, a little bit sweet but tastes good.

On tap at the brewpub, Gasthof zur Post, Bad Kötzting Friday 15th December 2023. Pours orange gold with a large white head. Soft mouthfeel, good carbonation, a little malty sweetness, a touch nutty, pleasant beer.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy amber beer with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of clove, yeast and caramel. Taste of phenolic esters, clove, ripe banana, some vanilla, okay!

On tap at the brewpub. A clear deep golden beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dry grainy malt, caramel, toasted malt. Taste of caramelish malt, nuts, dry grainy malt, moderate bitterness.

“Brauerei zur Post Rittergold“, vom Faß in der Post in (Bad) Kötzting. - Goldgelb, leicht trüb; üppiger, dauerhafter Schaum. - In der Nase feine Hefe, brotiges helles Malz, milde Süße, sehr gediegener Hopfen (Kräuter). - Antrunk schlank und frisch zitrusfruchtig mit leicht kräuteriger Hopfenherbe. Sattes, brotiges helles Malz, leichte Haselnuß. Mild rezent, vollmundig, sahnig. Im Abgang milde aber aromatische orangenfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Sehr fein komponiertes Helles mit sortentypisch milder aber eleganter Hopfenaromatik. Ein Gourmet-Bier, das sorgsam jegliche Härte vermeidet.
