Amber has never been my favorite style Until recently…. When I get an amber like this. I say: one more please Hazed amber pour and a fine creamy head Pleasant mellow aroma Balanced sweetness and bitterness Also a fine mellow carbonation level. On tap at Bruderherz, Nürnberg in the company of Jude and Baz Wednesday 15th June 2022, blisteringly hot today. Pours warm orange/amber with a white head, super soft moutheel, aroma is a little sweet orange, a light gassiness, a little bit chewy, simple, some caramel. Ok but no great shakes.

On tap at Bruderherz. A hazy dark amber beer with a off white head. Aroma of caramelized malt, butterscotch, reddish fruits. Taste of caramelized malt, nuts, reddish fruits, butterscotch.

“Bruderherz Mia Lager“, vom Faß im Bruderherz, Nürnberg. - Goldbraun, gut trüb. - In der Nase viel Hefe, brotig-toastiges Malz und mild grasiger Hopfen. - Antrunk dick hefig, frisch toastmalzig und leicht knackig grasig gehopft. Milde Malzsüße, leicht herbe Frucht (Aprikose). Im Abgang schön krautiger fränkischer Hopfen. - Noch etwas unreifes, dennoch reizvolles Bier, frisch, weich und knackig gehopft. (26.4.2019)
