Can split at Lords, day 2 of ENG vs IRE test, picked up in Newry 02/06/23. Pitch black with a tan cap that dissipates over time. Nose is dark malts, charr, coffee bean, chocolate, light roast. Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, ashen nip, brown sugar scattering, coffee grinds, milk chocolate, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent coffee stout.

Can shared at Lords cricket match Ireland test day 2. An opaque jet black brown coloured pour with a fading swirl if dark tan head. Aroma is nice sweet coffee. Milky roast, jammy berries, woody roast, some alcohol. Flavour is composed of rounded, light tangy roast, ashy roast, robust roasted barley.. Palate is tangy, moderate carbonation, oily.

A: toasted nuts, peanut butter, toast, tobacco.
T: sweet peanut butter, mocha, toast, chestnut.
F: earthy hops, burnt nuts, tobacco, warming coffee liqueur-like alcohol.
P: full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Dominant P.B., not very complex.

Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a chocolate mahogany colored body that supports a tiny off white head. The aroma is pulsing with inviting Ovaltine chocolate to start and then it gets into white chocolate like sugars. The taste delivers an interesting array of notes I'm used to. I get herbal to mineral notes blending into chocolate and spicy black licorice. The minerals pick up a modest sense of spiciness into the finish as coffee nuttiness is also noticed. Fun beer.

Keg at the wee vault... Dark black... Thin tan lacing... Soft sweet nutty chocolate roast malts nose. Dark roast.. Big peanut... Light bitter... But maybe little bit musty. No I'm. Just not liking this

50cl bottle. aroma of brown cake, toffee, dark caramel, dark chocolate, coconut (lots) , licorice (a little), lakridskonfekt. flavor is coconut, sweetness like honey in coffee, fainter rubbery roasted malty note, brown sugar, milk chocolate, cake frosting with coconut flavor. very sweet and very coconut and not really that tasty by my personal preferences, texture and quality feel is very high though, it feels and tastes like an ass-kicking imp stout with lots of body. Flavor is dominated by coconut and vanilla, not really the roasted malts or hops or barrelling, which i would prefer.

Can at SHIG place tasting, thanks to Fergus, 16/04/23. Light black decent tan to swirl. Nose is sweet chocolate, dark malts, sugars, toffee fudge. Taste comprises dark malts, charr, hint lactic, tangy fruits, choclate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.
