Bottle @home shared by me. Clear amber to copper colour with a medium to large sized white head. Smells cork, dusty, sour, infected. Tastes infected, sourish, dusty, hint of cherry.. If this beer wasn’t infected it would score lower. Now it tastes like a Flemmish red. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear dark orange to lightly reddish color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Weird sourish aroma with some fruity hints. A bit chemical. Taste also had a sourish touch, a weird fermenting fruit touch, orangepeel, yeast. Totally weird and not good at all imo, though it’s a long way from the worst I’ve ever tried. Basically, for an infected beer this is the best ever, simply because it’s still drinkable.

GBBF Day 4. The great Harrisoni/madmitch76 walkabout. Bottle. Murky dark brown beer with a definite purple tint. Small pale cream colour head. Light dry crisp palate. Light fruitiness. Caramel that tastes slightly oxidised. Whisper of oaky sweetnhess. Light dry finish. Not too bad.

Tasted under its commissioned alias Bosta Kerstbier Witbier, which is apparently not made anymore under that name. Off-white, loose head and a deep orange golden blonde colour, even leaning towards amber and in that sense clearly darker than usual for the style but comparable to Hoegaarden Spéciale, by which it is probably inspired. Sweet aroma of caramel, crystal malt, wheat, honey and orange; taste fruity sweetishness, caramel-like maltiness, not cloying, quite thin mouthfeel and little hops with a somewhat watery finish. Never found the other Bosta beers Sint-Servattumus made and frankly I was surprised none of them had apparently made it to this site yet.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours rich amber with a tight, creamy off-white head. The nose has hefty bread, rich dark fruits, berries, some wood, earth and leaves. Medium sweet flavor with lightly tangy dark berries, some grainy bread, leaves. Medium bodied with fine to averGe carbonation. Sweet finish, further tangy, ripe berries, low bitterness. Well balanced. Not bad.
