Stenen kruik. Bij het losdraaien van de metalen ring wordt de kurk spontaan gelanceerd maar blijft het bier verrassend in de kruik. Donkergeel levendig bier met stevige mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is krachtig, bitterzoet en fruitig met iets van banaan, wat citrus en een vleug koriander. Heel goed.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen, Benzai en keukenboer. Donkerbruin troebel bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma van pruimen en is iets rokerig. Smaak is ook rokerig nasmaak is zoet en houtig.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven, geprobeerd met Benzai en Keukeman. Het is een helder amberkleurig bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat kruidige geur. De smaak is kruidig en caramel achtig.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Bourgondisch op Zuid, Oosterhout. Light hazy golden with a white head. Fruity yeasty aroma. Sweet taste with large metallic notes and some oxidation. Highly carbonated. Finishes with an oxidated metallic cooked cabbage bad homebrewed mess, I'm sorry to say. This is not a good beer although it smells great, at first.

Yeasty aroma with banana. Sweet, yeasty flavor with pear, honey, some licorice and a bit of roasted malt. Yeasty, bitter finish. Re-rate: vintage 2001: Raisin and porto aroma. Sweet raisinny flavor, porto and caramel. Velvety. The flavor of an old Chimay Blue, although only two years old. Likeable beer, that lacks perfection.

Grape sugar, coreander aroma. Yeast flavor, herbal. In fact, the herbalness and the yeast overpower the usual witbier flavors. Pity, the aroma promised a decent beer.
