Bottle from Chester Beer and Wine. Pours dark brown with a short-lived tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate and treacle. Taste is more of the same. Coffee starts to come through at the back. Bit thin.

500ml bottle from Crafty Merlin's, Darlington. Hazy amber colour, off-white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of mellow fruity hop. Taste is malt, caramel, with fruity, citrus, floral notes and hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry mellow hop finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask at the Half Moon, Darlington. Amber gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of citrusy hop. Taste is malty, caramel, fruity mango, orangey citrus, hop resiny bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

22/7/2018. Cask at Wor Local Micropub, Prudhoe. Pours dark brown to black with a creamy, cream to beige coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, light roasted malt, dark fruit, hint of berries, liquorice, coffee and toffee. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a hint of fruity sour. Medium to full body, slick texture, very soft carbonation. Liked this.

Cask at Half Moon, Darlington. Black colour, tan foam head leaving lacing and chocolatey roasted malt aroma. Taste is powdered chocolate, with milky, roast malt, smokey, dark fruits & coffee notes with some bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, chocolate roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Cask at Darlington CAMRA 2016 Beer Festival at the Forum. Golden colour, frothy white foam head and aroma of tropical fruit, mango, orange blossom, citrus hoppy. Flavour is pale malt, alittle biscuit, with fruity mango and citrusy hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
