Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington with danlo. Pours deep brown towards black with beige to tan foam. A rich, creamy, roasty porter. Chocolate, smidge of coffee. Medium+ body with smooth carbonation. Very well executed indeed. Delicious!

500ml bottle from Wobbly Aleways, Newcastle. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, hops. Taste is sweetish, malty, floral fruity, mango, with zesty citrusy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry fruity hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers GB. Aroma is very piney with tropical fruits and wheat. Taste is pine with flowers and dried fruit. Very little carbonation and slightly bitter finish.

Cask, third pint. @Nottingham Beer Festival 2024, Nottingham (England). 12/10/2024 [#7.965 Global - #1.022 England - #1 George Samuel Brewery (My english brewery #322)] Pours dark brown, almost black, with a tan head. Aroma chocolate, americano coffee, cocoa powder. Taste: cocoa powder and americano. Light roasty palate. Next one, please!

2/6/2022. Cask at the 35th Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival. Pours dark mahogany brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is malty, earthy, tarmac, meaty, Bovril. Moderate sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Not bad but a bit hard work.
