375ml can into glass. Christmas present. Pours a golden amber with a thin white head. Slight haze. Nose is ripe tropical fruit and caramel malt. Bitter, refreshing. Lingering bitter lemon finish. Very nice pale ale, more American than English.

330ml bottle shared with Soph next to the river for the first time this year. Pours a very pale greenish yellow. Sweet nose. Typically sweet for Aussie cider, floral with no natural flavours. Light sweet sipper overall. Fine, I guess.

375ml bottle from Darkes. Clear pale yellow golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of honey, earthy, caramel hint. Taste is sweet, honey, floral, caramello koala, syrupy. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet caramel finish. Nicely sippable.

Taste is tangy, apple, fleshy, tart, fruity, citric, some yeast hints, with acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying citric finish. Nicely drinkable.

27/7/2022. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed. Pours clear almost colourless with a few short lasting bubbles. Aroma is sugary pear, lightly woody and funky, touch perfumed. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Decent.

330ml bottle from National Brewery Centre, Burton Upon Trent. Sparkling, pale yellow colour, with a short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of pear, floral, woody. Taste is sweet, pear, fruity, slight woody hint, with some light drying citric acidity. Light bodied, high carbonation, drying finish. Quite drinkable.

375ml bottle from the Apple Shack, Darkes Forest. Golden colour with afew bubbles and no head. Aroma of light honey and mellow alcohol. Taste is sweet, honey, fruity, with hay, biscuity, earthy notes and tangy warming alcohol. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, residual sweet and warm finish. Quite sippable.
