Bottled@Gustav Wasa, Vaasa. More or less black colour, mediumsized brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is a bit lactic, some oatmeal, mild berries as well as some toffee and mild roasted notes. Flavour is being quite similar, but also has some slight notes of alcohol. Balanced, but a bit strong on the lactic slight sourness in the aroma.

Bottle 0.5l at Mullikka, Helsinki. BBE 12/2017. Batch #17. Colour is dark brown with small brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Molasses, grain, chocolate, some sweetness and malts. Very strong malts! And I like it.

Draught @ Ukkometso. Aroma has licorice and coffee. Foamy and sticky palate. Flavour has salty licorice, coffee, chocolate and ash. The ashy notes here are quite unique. Becomes sticky at the end of the glass.

Tap at Oljenkorsi, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, dark chocolate and roasted malts. Very good body for this ABV but basically this is malty chocolate juice. Bartender said ABV is really around 1.0%.

Bottle 0.33l from Varusteleka, Helsinki. Enjoyed at home, Vantaa. Batch #48. BBE 6/2016. Colour is cloudy light brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Caramel, bread, some vegetables and malts. Weird, not enjoyable.

Tap at Naamat. "Jolly Green American ipa". A bit murky deep amber color, small off-white head, lace. Aroma has piney hops and glue-like yeastyness. Medium-bodied. Pine woody flavor, some resin. Somewhat yeasty feeling. A bit messy. Maybe the last drops of keg or something.

(Keg at Mullikka, 20160101) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had chocolate, molassess and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were chocolate, molasses, pine, grass and bitterness. Afteraste was mostly bitter. A good brew in which the finishing bitterness cleansed all the sweet flavours.

(Keg at Mullikka, 20160101) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, sweetness and lingonberries. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, lquorice, tartness, lingonberries, sourness and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, chocolate, lingonberries and bitterness. The lingonberries gave this brew a nice sour and tart twist. Not bad at all.

Bottle. A brown, a head is dense, beige and big. Aroma has breadyness, strong herbs, some vegetables and soap with lemon notes. Taste has bread and some lemon, also notes of vegetables, nicely strong bitterness. Almost medium bodied, fluffy palate. My first beer from Hopping Brewsters, moderate feelings, nice to drink and balanced beer.
