[ As Hopping Brewsters Black Flight A/Black Roger ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, earthy, wood, smoke, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, wood, smoke, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

[ As Hopping Brewsters Double Warthog ].Unclear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, hop oil, fruity, marmelade hops, strawberry - strawberry jam. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet fruit, hop oil, hop butter, hoppy, dry, marmelade. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap@ One Pint Pub. Pours cola brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is somewhat acidic with bready malts, lemon and vinegar. Flavor has rye bread, lemon, sourness and herbal tea. Soury finish. Quite an interesting brew.

Tap at Winston Fest. Dark brown color, no head. Aroma is sour with toasty maltyness, a bit citric. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Tart, herbal, underlying honey. First sip is very sharp but then quite interesting sour.

Tap at Winston Fest. Opaque black color, tiny off-white head, lace. Hops, caramalt, toastyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Coffeish, toasted malty flavor. A bit grassy. Ok but stylewise not so well in the balance.

Tap at Winston Fest. Hazy orange color, small white head, some lace. Citrusy and ryeish aroma, a bit flowery. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruityness, citrus, pine with long fruity and bitter aftertaste. Good stuff.

(Keg at Porto Bianco) The beer poured cloudy and pale orange. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and tangerine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, fruitiness, spiciness, sweetness, acridness and bitterness. Aftertaste was acrid and bitter. A rather poor pale ale.

Draught@SOPP2015 Helsinki. Murky ambery brown colour, small off-white head. aroma is mild toasted notes, caramel, malts, a bit cooked vegetables as well as some mild catpissy (hoppy) notes. Flavour is roasted, some floral and grassy hops along with mild resiny and some strange bitterness.

Draught@SOPP2015. Slightly hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, some slight resin and some caramel notes. Flavour is very similar, but also has some mild spices. In the flavour there is some strange slight acidic tones which makes it a bit unpleasant.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2015. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some wood, mild nectar and wood to it. Flavour is similar with some toffeeish notes. Fresh and good summerdrink.
