Schooner on tap at Pacific Hotel, Yamba. Pours a cloudy grey with zero head. Nose is tart Granny Smith apples. Lightly zingy in the mouth, little taste. It's all in the finish. Tart apple with background caramel, lingering umami and apple core. Very adult cider, not for the kids. Looks a bit ordinary but drinks OK.

330ml bottle from Prince Wine. Pale yellow-gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and light apple aroma. Taste is apple, fruity, tart and citric, with light tannin. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK.
