(Draft at the brewery) Clear straw with slight white head. Pleasant but subtle aroma. Light body and light carbonation. Taste was distinguished by a distinct and pleasant floral note - I realise this should be aroma, but it was how it struck me. This, combined with some candy notes, was the main aspect of the foretaste. There followed some nice biscuity malt notes, and some very slight bitterness in the finish. Overall a very nice, and somewhat unusual, lager.

Bottle. Very pale with a white head that fades quickly. Aroma of hay, lemon blossoms. And so it tastes - pretty clean with moderate sweetness that’s slightly honeyed, mild citrus, a hint of pepper, moderate bitterness. "Helles" just means "pale", right? Decent.
