Big coarse beige head. Dark red translucent body with ongoing carbonation. Peppery caramelly aroma with notes of milk and paper. Taste is powerful acidic smoky caramel with a bitter grassy aftertaste. Smoky taste lingers. Slightly sickly metallic-like off-taste, with notes of wild berries. Quite a bit of taste, but somehow it doesn’t appeal very much. Could be the acidity. (0.5l can.)

Can, 4.5%. (The black can). A gusher like the red can, shaken by the Finnish delegation? Slight grain aroma. Clear greyish brown colour. Very small head. Tastes like a Danish "classic" except this has a little more malt. Low bitterness. 4 3 4 3 9
Draught, 4.5% at EBF08 as Diamond Craft Beer. Clear brown colour. Nice big stable creamy tan head. Roasted flavour, some cardboard, bad malt. 5 3 5 3 9

Dennoch: Schlecht! Test vom 1.10.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 5,5,5,5,5,5 - 5,00

Can - Bruxellensis Festival. Rich dark ruby colour, thin beige head. Some dark juicy fruit. More dark jammy fruits in mouth, blackcurrants. I like the fruit a lot.

Can - Bruxellensis Festival. Gold colour with thin white head. Sickly malt aroma. Good raspberry fruit in mouth. Wow, nice berries. Tasty, if a bit thin. A raspberry lager.

Bottled. Copper-colored, clear beer with a beige head. Caramel, malt and a light roastiness in the aroma. Flavor is sweet, with caramel, roasted grains and some hops. Thin to medium body. Decent, but nothing more than that. (060604)
